ACADEMIC DISHONESTY:
Dishonesty in any form-including plagiarism, turning in assignments prepared by others, unauthorized possession of exams, or the copying of answers from another-may result in the student receiving an “F”.
STUDENT CONDUCT:
Students should attend every session of every course in which they are enrolled. As such, students are responsible for all material and information that was given out in class or lab.
ADVISING STATEMENT:
Students are encouraged to remain in close contact with their instructor to assess progress and ensure the timely completion of program of study.
INSTRUCTOR’S POLICY ON ABSENCES AND GRADING ALERTS:
All absences are unexcused unless the student can prove extreme extenuating circumstances. The CTC-WEST handbook attendance policy also applies. Makeup tests and lab work must be turned in within one week of the date given. Quizzes cannot be made up. After an absence, it is the student’s responsibility to find out what information was missed.
OTHER CLASSROOM AND LAB POLICIES:
Cell phones should either be turned off or operate on silent to prevent disruption during lecture and other class activities. Texting during class will not be tolerated. NOTE: CTC-WEST is not responsible for lost or stolen cell phones. They are your responsibility.
